Our story

The Kitchen Lady UK (previously Covey Kitchens) was started in October 2017 by Emily to offer great kitchen design to everyone. She works to promote and add value to existing local English cabinetmakers, supporting talent in Somerset and offerng strong local competition against internationally recognised British kitchen names such as Tom Howley, Plain English, Smallbone and DeVol.

Good design elevates the value of your kitchen both aesthetically and functionally. Emily offers a guiding hand, only usually found in a showroom, creating a space that fits around you and your family as well as unlimited and on-going advice and support until you have your first meal in your new kitchen. You will be presented with photo realistic 3D drawings to bring your new space to life, as well as working elevations and plans to give you the confidence sourcing your own suppliers and managing your own budget. Alternatively, Emily's carefully curated Black Book is available to help with sourcing.

Everyone can have the home of their dreams for the budget of their choice, Emily can show you how. The Kitchen Lady UK offers Independent Kitchen and Home Design in Somerset and also remotely around the world, for budgets both big or small. Armed with plans and independent advice, you will have the confidence to make the best decisions to unlock your home's potential. Emily will lead you through the design process, creating an exciting and stress free experience for you. By remaining independent, she can offer you the best advice that works for you and your family, with no hidden agendas. (As a bonus, you also get that warm gooey feeling of supporting multiple small businesses that make up over 75% of Somerset's economy!)
