Project: Project Hackney
2016
£150,000
Hackney
A small side extension was designed to this 2 bedroom garden flat in Hackney.
The existing space was facing North and was very dark. CCASA Architects proposed a fully glazed side extension that could form part of the garden when the sliding doors where opened. Therefore the kitchen area which was a key area of the client is placed in this space for the full enjoyment of the owners.
Project: Project Escape, Forest Gate
2019
£200,000
Forest Gate, East London
The project consisted on a modest side extension and a full internal refurbishment of a two-storey end of terrace property in East London.
The addition of generous sliding doors and roof lights and opening the spaces internally allowed the property to benefit of natural light throughout.
Internally, the materiality and colour palette were designed carefully to achieve a nice balance between traditional finishes and touches of bright colour in order to give personality to the space.

2019
£250,000
Brixton, London
Refurbishment of a two storey terraced house with a side extension and loft conversion.
On the back elevation, Steel Corten was used for all areas of the ground floor and the new side extension. The clever way of the design emphasizes the London stock brickwork at first floor which seems to be floating.
At ground floor all rooms have been opened, connecting the spaces and allowing views throughout the property.

The project consists of a new mansard roof extension on an existing 1 bedroom flat which had a big roof terrace in Notting Hill, London.
The addition of a high-end mansard roof allowed for an additional generous bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The owner was keen to retain some outdoor space and a well proportionate terrace was allowed at roof level.
The existing flat was fully refurbished with the inclusion of a new designed stair, a new kitchen and a new family bathroom.

2018
£1,000,000
Primrose Hill
This project was taken over by CCASA Architects at construction stage after a fallout between the previous client and their design team.
We were involved on surveying the work that had been done to date and finish the job to a high-end specification as the property is located in Primrose Hill, North London.
A new hands on and easy-going client and a good synergy between the contractor and the architect allowed for the project to be completed in a timely manner and all previous issues resolved.

A new build was designed in an end of terrace garden plot in Putney, London
The new house comprises two floors, a rendered lower ground floor compromising the living areas and access to a generous terrace and a top floor raised timber pavilion floor compromising 2 bedrooms and a family bathroom and a generous garden

Project Phoenix is the result of a new wrap-around extension in a terraced house in South London.
The client aimed to have a bigger kitchen and informal dining area with great connection to the rear garden. As the new extension occupied a big area, it was imperative for the client for the space to be bright and airy.
New rooflights were added to the scheme and with full height doors to both the patio and the rear garden, flooded the space with natural light.

2019
£500,000
Hampstead, North London
An existing 2 storey rear extension was demolished and a new full width extension was built at lower ground floor and a study space in the upper ground floor.
The full lower ground floor was refurbished to relocate the kitchen towards the garden and create a TV room for the family at the front.
Our client, being a painter artist, was bold with her choice of colours and we are very pleased of the final result and the personality that brings to the project.
