Our story

HØLTE designs hand-finished fronts and worktops for IKEA cabinet carcasses, bringing a high-quality but accessible designer finish to a cost-effective kitchen system.

Set up to give people an opportunity to benefit from good design at a more accessible price point, HØLTE stands at the forefront of a rapidly expanding design market. By providing fronts for existing kitchen systems, HØLTE is able to offer a bespoke feel at an off-the-peg price point. We are dedicated to detail in both design and service and pride ourselves in our simple, timeless design; long-lasting, high-quality and environmentally conscious materials; and transparent pricing.

HØLTE’S growing range of cabinet fronts, handles and worktops are finished by hand in our Hertford workshop. The design side of the business operates from our East London design studio in the buzzing Broadway Market area. Our studio serves to showcase our designs and provides space to meet clients face-to-face. Alongside our product range we also offer a range of design services to help you realise your ideas and get the most out of your space.

We also showcase lighting by London studio Hand & Eye (with 10% off for HØLTE clients), handles and knobs by Swarf Hardware (20% off for HØLTE clients) and innovative hobs and integrated extractor hoods from the German cooking-system pioneer BORA – making us a one-stop shop for the complete kitchen-design journey.
