Our story

etc Design Ltd is an award winning RIBA chartered architectural practice based in Wombourne, a village just outside of Wolverhampton, in South Staffordshire. Our practice was established in 1998 and building upon our many years of experience we continue to provide a high-quality, tailored architectural service for private and public-sector clients looking for creative design solutions.

Whilst we can work within any sector or with any building type one of our specialisms is large luxury homes. We are particularly focussed on creating innovative, sustainable homes that are thermally efficient. To support this our practice is a member of Passivhaus Trust, AECB & The Green Register and our staff regularly engage with CPD and networking events to develop their existing skills and knowledge.

Our Architects and Designers work within all stages of the design and construction process and can therefore offer a full or partial architectural service depending on the needs of each client. We work collaboratively with our clients, taking their vision and combining it with our passion for design, knowledge of sustainable principles and appreciation of the local context, to design buildings that work for them.

Over the years we’ve worked with a range of private clients, developers, Housing Associations & Local Authorities for residential projects. We've also worked with clients in the aviation sector, including Boeing, Oxford Airport & Flight Safety International, as well as commercial clients such as Ricoh & BOC. Whilst most of our projects have been located in Wolverhampton, South Staffordshire, Shropshire & the Black Country, our work has also taken us UK-wide as well as worldwide.
